The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The staff was generally friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay overall.
During our stay, we encountered an issue regarding payment. Despite agreeing to pay by bank transfer, we were rudely and aggressively asked to pay extra cash to cover the bank fees.

The location of the hotel is perfect for beach lovers, as it is close to an amazing beach with stunning views of the ocean. there is a convenient footpath nearby for those who enjoy outdoor walks. the hotel is situated on a hill, which adds to its charm and provides a peaceful atmosphere. the rooms are well-equipped and clean, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. the friendly and accommodating staff offer excellent service, ensuring a pleasant stay. Breakfast is delicious and served with a smile. Guests can also enjoy facilities such as a pool and fast Wi-Fi.
One drawback is that the hotel's hillside location might be challenging to navigate from the main road.

Loved the veranda overlooking the garden, especially the table and chairs on the lawn. The dogs added extra excitement to my stay. Mountain and sea views were a bonus.
Just adored everything, nothing could possibly go wrong.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hillside Haven in Mauritius! the room was clean, modern and well-equipped with everything we needed. the fridge was stocked with drinks so we didn't have to worry about buying anything. the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. the view from the room was amazing, with a spectacular sea view and mountain backdrop. the hosts, Dominique and Donald, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They provided us with great recommendations and information about the island. it was one of the best studios we've stayed in and we would highly recommend it.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, with a clear sight of the city, beach, and sea. It was truly breathtaking, especially during the evening. the kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge, stove, and microwave oven, which made it convenient for preparing our own meals. Lastly, the owners of the hotel were extremely helpful, providing us with assistance in terms of our stay, transfer, and information about the area.
That the room was a bit small, although it did have a spacious closet. Another minor inconvenience was the size of the pull-up table in the kitchen, which may be too small for some people.

The beautiful surrounding and excellent view on the ocean, the well-equipped room including a kitchen, sunshade, beach chairs, and bath. The stunning sunsets seen from the terrace were unforgettable. The self-catering apartment is highly recommended, although a rental car is suggested due to the hillside location.
